Lexus Extra Care Platinum Plan is the premier, Lexus-backed extended vehicle service protection offering the highest level of coverage for almost all component groups in your vehicle. Most original equipment installed by the manufacturer or Lexus dealer is covered for mechanical failure. (If a particular item is not listed in the component listing or exclusions listing, check your plan for complete details.) The Lexus Extra Care Platinum Plan is available at any participating Lexus dealership throughout the U.S.A. and Canada. To purchase a Lexus backed plan, please see your local Lexus dealer.

Vehicle Eligibility
Eligibility for the Lexus Extra Care VSAs requires keeping your vehicle in top shape with routine scheduled maintenance. Lexus dealership technicians have extensive expertise in helping to keep your vehicle running smoothly.

New Lexus Vehicles
New Lexus vehicles less than 4 years old and have fewer than 50,000 total vehicle miles are eligible for a "New Vehicle" VSA.

Used Lexus Vehicles
Used Lexus vehicles, within current plus 9 model years old, and subject to certain mileage limits, qualify for Platinum coverage.

Ineligible vehicles include emergency vehicles, salvage vehicles and those used for hire to public, plowing snow, competitive driving or racing. For further details contact your Lexus dealer.

Examples of some items not covered include: Accessory Drive Belts; Batteries; Body Panels; Brake Linings, Pads, and Shoes; Bumpers; Carpet; Chrome; Clutch Friction Disc and Pressure Plate; Dash Cover and Pad; Door Trim, Handles, and Fabric; Filters; Fluids; Glass (including Windshield); Headliner; Heating Hoses, Lines and Tubes; Hinges; Hoses; Hybrid System Main Relays; Hybrid Vehicle Battery; Hybrid Vehicle Battery Module/Pack; Interior and Exterior Trim Moldings, including but not limited to Cup Holders, Ashtrays, Covers, and Vents; Lamps; Light Bulbs; Nuts, Bolts, Clips, Retainers, and Fasteners; Paint; Rotors and Drums; Rust and Corrosion Damage; Seat Covers; Service Plug; Sheet Metals; Shiny Metals; Spark Plugs; Structural Framework and Wells; Tires; Vacuum Hoses, Lines and Tubes; Weather Stripping; Wheels and Rims; Windshield Wiper Blades (Rubber Component) Mechanical failure of any other component is covered, provided that it's not a result of failure of any of these listed items.
