  1. What is the Mail Center?

The Mail Center is a convenient, secure way for you to communicate with our customer service team. It is a personal Inbox linked to your LFS Account. Messages can only be viewed by you and Lexus Financial Services.

  2. Is the Mail Center secure?

Yes. The Mail Center uses sophisticated encryption technology. Messages are stored securely until they expire after 90 days. Messages stored at the Mail Center are encrypted with 168-bit triple DES encryption and sent to your personal Mail Center Inbox using 128-bit encryption. This level of encryption is considered highly secure by industry standards. For more information on our commitment to your security, please read our
    Privacy Policy.

  3. How do I know when a customer service representative responds to my message? How can I access new mail?

When a customer service representative replies to your question or request, you will receive an email in your regular email inbox. The email will contain a link requiring you to log in so you can access the message in the Mail Center. (Note: If your email program does not show the link as clickable, you may need to copy and paste the link into the address field of your browser and press Enter or Go.)

When you log in to your LFS account, there will also be a new message alert in the Mail Center area if you have a new message in your Inbox. You can always use the Mail Center link on the left navigation area within your LFS account to access the Mail Center.

  4. What happens if I leave my computer while I am in the middle of writing a message or it takes me a long time to type my message?

After 15 minutes of inactivity you will be automatically logged off the system and all of the information you entered previously will be erased. This security feature has been put in place to protect your personal information. If you think it will take longer than 15 minutes to write your reply, you can either save the message as a Draft, or compose it outside of the Mail Center and then copy and paste it into the Message field at a later time.

  5. I've started a message, but I don't have time to complete it. What can I do?

In the Mail Center, click the Save as Draft button to save the message in the Drafts folder. When you return to complete the message, click the Drafts tab, and a list of your unsent draft messages is displayed. After a draft is sent, it is removed from the Drafts folder.

  6. What is "expiration date"?

The expiration date is the last date you will have access to a particular message. Messages are stored securely in the Mail Center for 90 days, and then they are deleted from your Mail Center Inbox. If the message has expired, you can no longer access it through the Mail Center.
